What was your inspiration?

My Mom was my inspiration for this project. I always wanted a sewing machine and I finally got one. I was going to buy a baby quilt off my mom for a friend. She said to me Why don't you make one, it's very easy. So we went together to buy some fabric and she also gave me some of her own. I have an amazing mom. She showed me how to make it. I did not even need a pattern. Thanks Mom!

What are you most proud of?

That I made my very first sewing project ever, that turned out amazing. I was really surprised.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take your time, this is an easy project. Enjoy the time making the quilt it will be beautiful and you will be amazed when you are done.

did you sew something between the squares or is that just the extra fabric sticking up? I would live to make this for my niece.
