What materials did you use? Flannel fabric, thin poly batting. Home-made spray starch. Pattern was "Daisy Baby" from Piper's Quilts & Comforts. (I added a border for the paw prints quilting.)

What are you most proud of? That I tried a new free-motion motif without any instruction on that particular motif. (The wonderful Craftsy classes made it possible!)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Starch the heck out of your flannels before cutting! (or better yet, make this from regular cotton fabric!)

Brenda P on

The only free-motion quilting in this quilt is the paw prints in the border. Leah Day inspired me to try a new free-motion motif on my own.
