What materials did you use? White fleece for the back, cotton materials, heavy loft batting, thread, sewing supplies, & tools.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you see some material you'd like to make a quilt from, buy it and save it in your "stash" and one day you will have a need, then you will be able to make it without having to run to the store!

can you please tell me what you mean about flipping quilt? is that a different way to finish quilt instead of putting binding on. sorry i'm a newbie

yes- it's a lot like making a pillow - instead of sandwiching the pieces and quilting it and then adding the binding you place your batting down and then the top piece and backing right sides facing each other...then you stitch around the sides - leaving an opening for turning/flipping. Cut off any extra and then flip it out - the right sides will be showing and then you can quilt it...and top stitch around the edges - being sure to close the opening. I hope this helps.
