polyfiber stuffing, super bulky yarn, worsted weight yarn, and size 12 straight needles.
What was your inspiration?
my inspiration was an amigurumi book my grandmother bought for me. The patterns were kind of confusing, though, so I just winged it. (No pun intended.)
What are you most proud of?
I love the little scarf. I love when stuffed animals have their own clothes.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The details are the most important part with projects like these--a scarf, a sweater, a bow in its hair. If you keep the toy interesting, and provide as many details as possible, that toy will appeal to a child for longer than his or her infancy. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
