Baby Hats & Booties

I don't have a pattern for the hat, but you can find one if you do a search, and then just use your imagination for colors and various stitches. For the booties, I used the pattern on the Red Heart Super Saver wrapper! Boots should fit most babies 6-12 months. Foot Length: 4" RED HEART Super Saver yarn Crochet Hook: size H Gauge: 14 sts = 4" in hdc. Boot (make 2) Ch 9 Rnd 1: Work 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in next 5 ch, 6 dc in last ch, turn to work along opposite side of beginning ch, dc in next 5 ch, 3 dc in last ch, slep st in top of beginning ch to join. Rnd 2: Ch 2, hdc in same st as slip st, w hdc in each of next 2 dc, hdc in next 5 dc, 2 hdc in each of next 6 dc, dc in next 5 dc, 2 hdc in each of next 3 dc, slip st in top of beginning ch to join. Rnd 3: Ch 2, hdc through back loop in each st around, slip st to top of beginning ch to join. Rnd 4: Ch 2, hdc in next 8 sts, [dc2tog] 8 times, hdc in next 9 sts, slip st to top of beginning ch to join. Rnd 5: Ch 2, hdc in next 7 sts, [dc2tog] 4 times, hdc in next 10 sts, slip st to top of beginning ch to join. Rnd 6: Ch 2, hdc in next 6 sts, [dc2tog] 2 times, hdc in next 11 sts, slip st to top of beginning ch to join. Rnd 7: Ch 2, dc in each st around, slip st to top of beginning ch to join. Rnd 8: Ch 2, hdc in each st around, slip st to top of beginning ch to join. Rnd 9: Ch 1 sc in each st around, slip st to top of beginning ch to join. Rnd 10: Slip st en each st around. Fasten off. TIE (make 2) Ch 80. Fasten off. Weave in ends. Beginning and ending at center of Front, weave Tie in and out at Round 7 on each Boot.
