Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Infant/Baby

Style: Cute, Traditional, Romantic, Classic

Materials

Pink gingham pima cotton

What was your inspiration?

My inspiration was the baby, the first daughter to a wonderful friend

What are you most proud of?

Most proud of cleanly finishing the sleeves. The pattern showed a very rough finish technique, I felt it needed to be cleaner to be up against a baby's delicate skin.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I used a very old pattern, out of print, so I was unable to ask the designer questions. I would have done more online research to help with the odd problems such as the sleeve finishing.
