What materials did you use? Moda posy jelly roll by Aneela Hoey

What are you most proud of? I took my time and found the perfect material colors and also bought a Learn to Quilt book which I read cover to cover before starting the project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time ask experienced quilters for advice. Total cost was $63 for supplies.

Thankyou for giving me the encouragement to start my first quilt, it will be just like yours.

I should have done something like this for my first quilt! I tried doing a block pattern in a queen size.. I have become very frustrated and has taken over a yr. and still not done or near done. I will be doing one like this to start over! Thank you for helping me just start over!! :)

Beautiful! Did you turn under the ruffles?

The pattern called for that but I did not do it thinking it would have a clunky look:). It was more material but I too 2 jelly roll strips and sewed them together then turned them right side out and pressed them,, then ruffled the strip ,, then sewed it onto the quilt. Has a softer look to the ruffle. Thankyou for the comment. Our granddaughter uses it all the time!
