What materials did you use? I used Kona Solids in pastel colors for the quilt, then quilted it using some free form quilting. The quilted roses in the border were inspired by Angela Walter's Quilting Negative Space class.

What are you most proud of? I really like the borders :-)

Beautiful! Love it!

This is an amazing quilt that just grabbed me! I am fascinated with the roses: the design, the technique, colors, & of course the quilting! I love doing something different, challenging -- I can't quite decide if I am actually capable of making this. WHEN I start working on it will you be there to answer my questions, explain why I did something the "stupid" way, & dry my tears as I lay on the floor sobbing because I just don't understand why I did it all wrong? I HOPE SO! I am going to go for it. Thanks for your Enthusiasm & Encouragement.!! Gloria

Your French Rose quilts are just beautiful! I've never made one, but I have the pattern. Is there a trick for getting the edges to fray? I tried a sample rose just to see how the washer/dryer would do

It didn't fray much. Is there a trick to get the edges to fray nicely? Do you wash each rose block first or sew the entire quilt first, then wash it?
