Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
The Perfect Fit Seamless Crazy Lace Cardigan »

Instructions

3" neck, Aiming for a 16" chest - but the front got a little too large, should have stopped increasing the v neck at 1".

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Clothing

For: Infant/Baby

Style: Cute

Materials

Sirdar Crofter DK

What was your inspiration?

Needed to do a little tension square, thought it might be more fun to knit a little cardigan instead.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Took less than 50g of wool, Great fun and so fast to knit - now just got to find someone with a baby girl.

Thank you. I;m in the middle of another plan Aran Cardigan - BUT: there was a sale in the local wool shop and got some Noro Taiyo half price. The adult sized crofter might have to wait a few weeks more!

Apparently out local hospital has an appeal out for preemie sized clothes, so if this had actually turned out to be a 16" chest it could have gone there. Got my scales out last night and it actually took 25g of wool - so I plan to have a second attempt.

Very cute! I have 3 little neices, so there are some of these in my future. Charity organizations are always wanting children's clothing too.
