Instructions
Fold under edges of fabric and sew down the middle. Use small panels to line each end. I used raw edge applique to do a flower for the girl burp cloth and a heart for the boy burp cloth.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
Boy and girl twins coming soon. The mom picked monkies as the theme. Bought lots of this Moda "Lollipop' fabric to use. Will do a matching blanket for each baby.
What are you most proud of?
Deciding how I was going to use the fabric on the purchased diapers took the longest. After the design was complete they went together fast. Used the iron lots to make sure they came out neat.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Go for it! I like to give practical, but nice baby gifts. They will also get blankets. And diapers, of course. Sure hope the theme of the babies' room doesn't change!
The biggest problem is that these purchased cloth diapers have horrible serged ends. They aren't even straight. AND in my bag of 12 diapers, these were the two closest in size. No quality control there.
