What was your inspiration?

My youngest daughter was pregnant for the first time. We were so excited! We decided to take a picture and do a scrapbook page each month--to chart the progress of her pregnancy. Little did we know this would be our only picture. She lost the baby that same day. I almost didn't do this page... but, even though we never met this child or held it in our arms...it was real... it existed and we loved him or her...My inspiration was the happiness on my girl's face.

What are you most proud of?

That we as a family can find joy even in our sorrow.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If you're a beginner scrapbooker, I would say this to you... record the sad moments too. They're part of life. Remember them and how you got past them.
