Instructions

My patterns are written in a non-traditional way to be very beginner-friendly. I use few, if any, abbreviations and give instructions in a row-by-row format in easy-to-read large type with a color picture of the finished project. This kit includes everything except the needles.

Fingering {lightweight} angora and wool blend yarn. US size 5 straight and double pointed needles.

What was your inspiration?

A wonderful ball of baby-soft angora in delicate pink - it just said "flower petal hat"! The bright color yarn in this kit will be just as cute, if not more so!

What are you most proud of?

The details - the scallop edge, the "baby bobbles" and the petal top.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't let the details worry you - this pattern really is slightly experienced beginner-friendly. You can do it, even if all you've knit before are plain scarves!
