What was your inspiration?

I love this simple short pattern. This is really a pattern that any beginner can acheive with ease. You will be making many pairs of shorts and kids love to pick out their own fabrics. I give you a basic pattern and cargo pocket option.

What are you most proud of?

Like most of our patterns, this pattern uses as few printed pattern pieces and possible and minimizes fabric waste to comply with our philosophy Go Green ... Sew Green.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't approach this pattern with a preconceived idea of how a pair of shorts shoudl be put together. My mother, who has been sewing and teaching sewing for over 40 years taught me the technique I use in this pattern and once you use it, you will never go back to conventional style.
