Quilting: baby boy bargello quilt
1 kudoz

baby boy bargello quilt

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Creative Quilt Backs »

Instructions

I made this quilt in a hurry and messed up my calculations resulting in the front panel being too large and not having enough backing - so I removed 1 panel of the front and put it down the centre of the back ... I actually prefer the back of the quilt now.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Infant/Baby

Style: Cute

Materials

quilting cotton and batting

What was your inspiration?

my cousin had a baby boy and mum wanted a quilt asap - I have made alot of bargello quilts so I can pump out a baby sized one complete in less than 2 days

What are you most proud of?

solving the calculation problem and finishing the quilt in time.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

don't rush the planning stage - work out measurements and fabric requirements properly before cutting and sewing.
