What materials did you use? Acryllic yarn that I got at Michaels on sale

What are you most proud of? I love how these blankets look and how the colors move around the wheel. Kaitlin's blanket was double strand and I ran out of one strand just before I finished - I was able to double up on the other strand and get it done - you couldn't tell where I ran out.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use a stitch counter - and make sure you check it once in a while.

I love the star pattern! Simply beautiful.

The blanket is lovely, where did you get the pattern?

I got it out of a big book of Afghan patterns that I got from the Craft Book Club - you know where you can get 5 books for 99 cents - I'll see if I can't find it this weekend, but I have also seen very similar patterns in the Mary Maxim catalog - you might try Annie's Attic too.

Thanks to everyone for your nice comments - it is really a fun blanket to make - especially using a variegated yarn to see where the colors change and meet.
