What was your inspiration?
My inspiration for this project was the bear in the picture. The colors and the piecing made me think of quilting so with that in mind I chose coordinating colors and a simple border. The simple shell pattern is one of my favorite stitches. It's easy, works up fast and looks elegant.
What are you most proud of?
I'm proud of making something from my hands that will cuddle my new, little nephew.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The squares can be made any size, color or combination of colors. Don't be afraid to experiment.
