What materials did you use? Various 100% cotton print fabrics, matching quilting thread, double layer of wadding

What are you most proud of? This is an instant-success-quilt! Once I picked the fabrics, everything just came together so easily and I was really pleased with my work. My mum thought it's better than anything you could buy in the shops, so I guess I did well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I didn't use a jelly roll/layer cake, but bought the fabric by the meter. As there are not a lot of shapes to cut (basically just strips and squares), take your time to cut the fabric. This will really pay off when piecing everything together. As I use metric rather than imperial measurements, I converted all the lengths. However, it's adviseable to rather add a few millimeters!
