What was your inspiration?
The summer colors shown on the catwalks. Thought why shouldn't baby look like mummy
What are you most proud of?
The shoes, they have double yarn soles and all multi coloured and the crochet ties let you fasten them like ballet shoes.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It is done using simple knitting techniques, knit, purl, slip stitch. You can easily vary it if you wish by bringing in more colors to make it individual. You don't have to put the lace pattern in, you can just continue with stocking stitch if you wish
