what an interesting twist to a lace shawl pattern. innovative and a great way to try out the pattern without committing too much time or material.

Yes, unlucky me I don't have the time to follow up knitting that shawl, I work as an alteration sewer and in the same time I sell my knitted and crocheted objects in the market , so I work all the time on my products , but I still can enjoy a good pattern like this one here :)))

Very interesting. How did you go about reducing the rim around the head??

simple knitting rows , knit 3 , k2 together, and then knit the second rest row , knit 2 , k2 together , knitting the rest row, k1 and k2 together , then work my rib 2X2 , and the decrease depends on how you want you size to be, but it is more controlled by blocking i really gather the rib rows as best as i can to give it the shape and size i want , i used a plate to flatten the lace and gather the rib band :)) hope that is helpful , my regards.
