What was your inspiration?
The Portuguese Azulejo Tiles that were introduced to Portugal by the Spanish Moors. The tiles are glazed in a single color (white) and decorated with geometric designs (blue).
What are you most proud of?
Being able to use remnant yarn from previous projects to create a new project.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Work in phases. Granny squares are an excellent way to use left over (surplus) yarn. All you have to do is to let your creativity flow. Be open to inspiration from your surroundings....nature, architecture, etc.
