The finished size of this quilt is 72" x 80" - it fits the top of a queen sized bed. It is large and bulky to work with in the sewing machine, but doable. If the size is bigger than desired, just remove a row from the side and the bottom to make it more workable and less bulky. I did this for a second quilt, and the finished size was 65" x 65" - perfect for cuddling up with a book!Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
I am trying to improve my "point" skills and this pattern looked liked a good one to practice with.
What are you most proud of?
The free motion top stitches because they make the backing look so nice.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I included a picture of the project "in progress" so that people can see how simple these blocks are to make. If you want to venture out with points, this is a great pattern to start with.
