What was your inspiration?
I'd bought this lace some time back & had been wanting to make something with it ever since. When I saw Vintage Vogue V8729 I knew it was perfect.
What are you most proud of?
I spent a lot of time hand-sewing on this project so it's nice just to see it completed.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If your lace has a pattern that doesn't repeat regularly, (like the lace in this dress), make sure you buy extra so that you can match side seams etc.
