Since this cover is for a larger (iPad-sized) tablet, I added a skinny strap for carrying. Also, I used cotton prints for the entire project, rather than linen for the pocket.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
I just bought a new tablet, with a docking keyboard, and I wanted a pretty cover for carrying and protecting it. I used my own pattern, which includes a worksheet to adapt the cover to any size of ereader, including an iPad. I'm so excited, because I made a whole set of coordinating accessories to go along with it. Some of them are shown in the photos above...a checkbook cover, business card holder and kleenex case. I also made a new tote bag to hold it all together! Blogged here: http://eamylove.blogspot.com/2013/01/getting-purse-onal.html
What are you most proud of?
I love the fabrics I chose and their placement.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Anyone can sew this handy cover!
