What are you most proud of? Mar 23, 2016. Fan, Part 50/50. Got the first autograph on Mar 19! It was a very quick meeting, the volunteer told him where to sign, Jeremy said something like "Oh, that's nice," and then it was over. - - - - - - One last little thing to finish the frame is to make it detachable from the ring, and make the joints to the paper permanent. Just saying it now because I probably won't remember to post it. - - - - - - - So any tips to meet the other #Avengers?#CrochetPortraits - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [Just a story...Feb 21, 2015. The day of reckoning. The day I would finally know whether I'm going to #SDCC2015. The sun leaped into the window, vaulted off the wall and punched me in the eye, jolting me awake. I had set my phone alarm for 8:30, and had made sure that it was loud enough to wake me, but I did not hear it. I rolled out of bed, found the phone, and saw it was only 7:30. *sigh* So begins the summer. But no matter. I woke up and dutifully crocheted the last row of today's progress pic whilst waiting for the yellow bar message to tell me something important, something to relieve the increasing stress and either send me flying or crush my spirit for a few days. Then I typed this description... Lo and behold, by 10:02 (a few minutes later than I had expected), all tickets were sold out.] Anyway, the most pride came from figuring out the stupid octagon...

What advice would you give someone starting this project? MATH. Tons and tons of MATH, if you start with naught like I did.
