The pattern available online is for a queen size quilt. My friends and I (we made it together for a wedding present) only used a portion of the pattern to make it into a lap quilt for two.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
The wedding colors for J&D's autumn wedding were blue & orange so we decided to stick with their theme. The bride is born on Halloween and I'm a December baby; as life-long friends, we've had ongoing presents with pumpkins and snowflakes. This quilt was no different (see if you can spot the pumpkins and snowflakes!).
What are you most proud of?
I'm most proud of creating this quilt together with two friends for another friend's wedding present. The quilt top turned out beautifully, and we had the top quilted for us in a 'leaf' pattern (another theme of J&D's wedding).
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Enjoy playing with colors! There are so many possibilities with a pattern like this!
