I always use all cotton fabric, thread and batting. I'm showing 3 different options for 1 quilt.
What was your inspiration?
I was so inspired by a collection from Fig Tree Quilts called Mill House Inn. I actually used charmed pack 5" squares for the stars and extra fabric for the borders and background. I was then inspired to make a smaller version for spring and a table runner for summer. I'm working on a holiday version to round out the calendar!
What are you most proud of?
I enjoy when others like this and my other designs - as an artist, I feel complete when other view my work and enjoy it as well - thank you!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Choose colors with plenty of variety to add the best contrast in the right places. Even though this is very much a beginner quilt, there are 4 different size stars available, please be familiar with the pattern to ensure you are making the right size for your project.
