What materials did you use? Worsted weight multi-colored yarn (provenance unknown); stash yarns (Frog Tree alpaca) in red, blue, green and tan, double-pointed knitting needles size #5 and #7, yarn needle, markers or safety pins (optional), circular needle size 7 (optional, see pattern).

What are you most proud of? This is one of my favorite hats, as it is colorful, comfy and warm, and the ruffles are always fun!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This is a great project for using up that stray skein of yarn, or for buying one skein of that precious yarn at your LYS with no idea how to use it. Put it together with complementary yarns in your stash, and you will have a hit!

Waiting for the instructions with anticipation!

Hi Scadams! I'll get back to you when I post it. It may be a bit because I am furiously working on a couple of other projects. Thanks for your interest.

I knit like I cook...a little of this and a little of that! I'll get busy today and see what I can come up with!

I have posted instructions for the hat. Let me know if you have questions as I am "seat-of-the pants" knitter and rarely write anything down!
