Very pretty...did you cut the leaves, etc. from flannel and top stitch them on?

Yes - the leaves are also flannel, are top-stitched onto the blocks before they are all sewn togther and have a raggy edge to them as well.

Haven't gotten it yet. But sure looking forwardto it. I think it's so pretty.Not to good at quilting yet,but trying.

It is really easy if you don't try to start with projects done by quilters who have been in the business for 20 years. Start with an easy rag quilt and just stitch X's in each square. They don't even have to be straight! My first 3 quilts were this kind and They are still my favorites. Keep on quilting!
