What was your inspiration?
The shoreline along Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the fall. The lake is cold and the leaves are hot.
What are you most proud of?
I used all kinds of cut up prints to make this quilt, from sunflowers to calicoes. I'm most proud that it worked.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Start with a smaller scene and learn the technique before attempting a big quilt.
