Materials

5 fabrics I won in my Guilds fabric rip game. The 3 smaller pieces I used for the Autumn leaves, and the 2 larger pieces were used in the 2 borders. I pieced the back according to a suggestion from the Creative Quilt Backs course.

As interesting as the back is - the leaves on the front are w.o.n.d.e.r.f.u.l. What technique did you use to get those concave turns so perfect? I can't get a close enough look to tell, but If that's needle-turn, I definitely have to bow to a master.

No master here. I do raw edge applique with a tiny zigzag stitch using 60 weight bottom line thread so stitches are nearly invisible.
