I'm new here at Craftsy, and I'm a brand new weaver, too. (I'm still waiting for my Schacht Flip 20" to arrive!) I was browsing through the weaving projects for some project ideas that are suitable for beginners, and several of your scarves caught my eye. They are so beautiful! I'm even more inspired now than I was before! Thanks for sharing!
Very Nice! Love the colors.
Angela, if I take the weaving classes, will I be able to ask questions?
Yes, definitely. I will be the instructor asnwering the questions in the class.
Hi Angela. I want to learn how to weave .. I have a loom but not sure if it is the kind i need to do the projects in your class. I want to get the class but do not want to pay for something that will not work with the loom I have. is a four harness loom. Please let me know about that .. And if I can use it I will purchase the online class. Thank you Linda Carol
Hi Linda, you will need a rigid heddle loom for this class. What I demonstrate in this class is setting up a rigid heddle loom. A rigid heddle loom equivalent of a 2-harness loom. The weaving involved in this class is plain weave. You should take a look at the other class for Floor Loom Weaving.
Thank you will look into that class ..
Hi Angela, I am a knitter not sure if I that good of one but I try! I am looking into purchase a loom. Very little room so no Floor Loom for me! or Table I guess. I have been looking for 4 months I think I just ended up more confused than ever. The width they say is most important. Would you agree with that? I want to take a class after I purchase one. I also want to make scarves, placemats, camera straps and hopefully blankets perhaps even fabric to make a few wearable items later down the line. So with that said there are a few Rigid Heddle Looms out there would you have advise for someone before purchasing one? I will then take a class to learn to warp and make this beauty of a scarf you have. Thank you. PS Thank you for taking the time to teach this class.
