Autumn Journey

Instructions

I used 100% reclaimed wood for this project. Pieces I had left over, or salvaged along the way.
I individually cut, sanded, painted and protected each piece by hand and then glued them to a large base backing which was the bottom of a dresser drawer.

Difficulty:

Category: Other

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Casual, Eco-Friendly

Materials

reclaimed wood, acrylic paint, wood clue, polyeurethane, screws.

What was your inspiration?

The client that I made it for I knew really well and it was for a new basement renovation. The colours were exactly her taste.

What are you most proud of?

taking a mish mosh of reclaimed wood and finding some sort of sense to it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

set it all out first and play around with the placement.

Fantastic! I can't wait to make my own. I've seen something similar in the stores and they are super expensive. I love how you make this project so simply and with tons of savvy. Its perfect!
