Autumn Cuff

Instructions

I used heavy gage bronze wire for the base of the cuff. The focal bead is variscite that I wrapped to the cuff base. I used wire weaving to secure the hematite beads to the arms of the cuff.

What was your inspiration?

I love this bead. I did another cuff with a similar bead but I wanted to do one that highlighted the intricate black markings in the stone. I think the hematite beads along the sides of the cuff does that.

What are you most proud of?

I like how the two colors of bronze complement the stone. I wasn't sure how the two colors of bronze would look together but the hematite and the stone brought them together.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

My cuffs have been trial and error with the best ones coming out when I have a general idea of what I want to do but I don't have a clue as to all the materials I am going to use.
