Knitting: autumn cloche cap
5 kudoz

autumn cloche cap

Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Traditional, Outdoorsy, Classic, Mod, Casual

Materials

I used my own handspun yarn. I first painted a white Blue Faced Leister roving in colors of autumn. Then spun it on my spinning wheel and used the Navaho technique for plying it so the colors changed gradually from one to another. This allows the actual knitting to look way more complicated than it is.

What was your inspiration?

I was liking how seams can really add to a look if you emphasize them.

What are you most proud of?

I was pleased with the end result.
