What are you most proud of? That I have done my first machine quilting project. This has taken me several months to complete.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just go slowly and only do one square a day and make sure it is absolutely right.

Thank you - I have had so much fun making this quilt for my grandniece - hopefully this is the last of the Australian themed quilts I will make (for the moment) - it is the 4th, the others being traditional patchwork using Aboriginal prints.

This is just wonderful. What a special gift for your grandniece. I'm sure she'll cherish it for many years to come. Good advice on making it over time. Sometimes I press myself to the point of "non-enjoyment". I suppose I can always switch to another project and come back later. Again, really love this!

Thank you - I have too many projects on the go but this is one of the important ones so it has taken several months to complete. I know what you mean Jean about pressing yourself - not good is it.

What a special quilt! Machine embroidery is fun, isn't it? Makes me want to get back to a couple of unfinished embroidery projects on the "to do" list.

Yes it was fun learning machine applique and I hope you get back into your unfinished projects Darns - would love to see them.
