What was your source for this jewelry project?
Online Photo or Website
Name of website or photo Aura weave
What materials did you use? 18 gauge brite finish aluminum rings, 20 gauge copper rings and small anodized aluminum scales
What are you most proud of? I made several pairs of these for my wife and she get lots of comments on them when she wears them.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? 1. DON'T use craft wire. It isn't strong enough to be used in chain maille jewelry 2. Work with rings made of aluminum, niobium, or titanium. They are light weight and come in different colors. 3. The addition of crystals instead of the aluminum scales add some sparkle to the project.
