What are you most proud of? That I can hand applique! It was scary to start with, but I followed Sarah's advice on how to do the circles, then put the same advice in to practise with the leaves. Oh boy what a lot of leaves!!! A ton of prep work involved but it was lovely to be able to sit in front of the TV with my feet up and hand stitch for a change of pace.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Save the hand applique for a wall hanging... in hindsight not the wisest choice for a lap quilt but hey, it was an experience!

This is a beautiful quilt, I love the colours what you used. I would like see when you do finished it. Sometimes when I see the quilt, I get a glad feeling from it. I call these quilt "happy quilt". Your quilt also a happy quilt. I wish you success to finish it.
