What are you most proud of? My points!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Pay extra close attention to the scant 1/4" seams, especially on the Double Star - they really need to be less than 1/4". My Double Star block came out 1/8-1/4" shy of 12 1/2" square even though I was vigilant!! Somehow I hope that little bit off will disappear with sashing and quilting....we'll see! Also BEFORE CUTTING check for alternative methods to make the flying geese units, e.g.http://www.connectingthreads.com/tutorials/Flying_Geese-Make_em_fast-two_methods__D15.html OR http://www.patchpieces.com/files/flyinggeese.pdf After cutting it's too late to change methods. I used Amy's method and saved the scraps for another project.

Very pretty, I really like the colors & fabrics that you chose. Very well done. Thank you for sharing. :-)

i love that flower fabric!

Thank you all for your kind words! The flower print is "High Society Hannah" from Anthology Fabrics. I AM really pleased with the points although not all completely PERfect. I think my scant 1/4" seams were not scant enough on initial diagonals for the the flying geese units. Note to self for future diagonals!

Just love your work! Gorgeous fabrics, great composition, beautiful sewing. For "dusting off" you're doing wonderful. Are you using a particular line of fabrics, yardage, stash? Look forward to your whole quilt!

Thank you so much Jean! Mostly it's my stash. I did make color choices from the onset, figuring these blocks would eventually be together in one quilt. So of course I HAD to go buy a few new ones to balance/fill in what I already had.
