What materials did you use? I knit this hat from Anny Blatt 50/50 Angora Merino yarn, 25 grams of each color.

What are you most proud of? I was very proud of this hat when it was completed. It feels just like fur because of the quantity of angora in the yarn, is very light weight, and turned out to be a very classy piece of work =:)!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I would not advise knitting your first Atyria hat in angora yarn. I had the yarn on hand, and it had been looking for a project for a long time. Do learn all of the increases, decreases, cables, etc. as Alasdair teaches them - while there is more than one way to skin a cat, this pattern requires that you move the stitches as he instructs to make it really neat!

My wonderful husband Harry, took the photos of the hat for me!

This looks very pretty with the angora. I like how the purple lines kind of ground the fuzzy green and keep it from looking too "floofy".

Thank you for checking out this hat!! It really is kind of amazing - the loft in the angora makes 25 grams of yarn equal to 50 in 100% wools and blends, so it's amazingly light and very much like fur =:)
