What was your inspiration?

I designed these as part of Sweet Paprika's Cloudy Day Collection. We wanted to include a men's sock pattern, so I played around with some stitch patterns until I found one that was simple and clean but also fun to knit!

What are you most proud of?

I was quite happy with how the rib pattern transitions from the ankle onto the foot - I wanted to make sure that the heel area looked tidy and the lines were clean and continuous.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a very stretchy rib, so choose a size with finished measurements smaller than the actual size of your foot. The pattern was written with men in mind, but the smaller sizes would definitely work for women too!
