What was your inspiration?

I wanted to make something super-easy, but not too boring. So, I started out with 2 x 2 ribbing and added a different element. An errant knit rib, 2 stitches wide, winds across its brethren stitches, sitting athwart them, as it were.

What are you most proud of?

I think it's fun. It fits well around most bottles and cups I tried. Also, I think it might stretch enough to fit over a pound-sized bag of coffee. I think that would make a simple last-minute gift.

I like the variation in the ribbing. It is very sculptural.

Yarn over is a yarn over, you wrap yarn around the needle before working the next stitch. K2t is knit two together
