Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I was inspired to decorate this cake with the new techniques I learned in the wafer paper class! The bottom tier was decoupage with different baseball images and textures. The center incorporated the teams logo. For the top tier I printed a baseball text backwards on rice paper. I then painted the top tier of the cake with water. I placed the rice paper on the cake and rubbed the back to transfer the image on to the cake. This was a quick an easy way to transfer onto the cake and came out perfectly! If you wanted it bolder you could easily paint over your design but I wanted more of a worn look. The topper was a sculpted glove and ball with a hand painted sign. Love, love, love all the new things that I have learned in the Wafer Paper class. Thank you for sharing Stevie Auble!!
