What was your inspiration?
Amy on block of the month. She made it look so easy to attempt.
What are you most proud of?
The fabric choice, I think the choppy flower design goes well with the slashed asterix. Sorry I can't remember the name of the fabric only that I bought it in a little shop in South West Harbor on Mount Desert Island, Maine on my holiday in USA so this block will always remind of that fantastic place.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Watch the video all the way through first. Don't panic if you think its not going to work and the lines don't look like they are going to match up - they will when its all done. Keep to a scant quarter of an inch seams.
