Instructions
When you are joining the tummy to the body of the bird, make sure to stop sewing just shy of the beginning of the tail- otherwise it is overly fiddly to stuff the birdie without stretching your stitches. You need a slightly larger opening than if you just went all the way to the tail.These are adorable!

What are you most proud of?
My blanket stitch improved immensely after the first birdie, and I was really glad I had spent some time practising my French knots.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take it slowly, have a good sharp pair of little scissors, and natural light to work in.
