What was your inspiration?
I wanted a mitten that was traditional but with an updated twist. The yarn was so wonderful to work with, the pattern had to be equally wonderful. I wanted a pattern that could be a first mitten and/or first colorwork project but would be interesting enough to keep the interest of those who are more experienced.
What are you most proud of?
How well the students in the workshop are doing with the pattern.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time. Once you get the rhythm it will move quickly.
