What was your inspiration?
The large floral fabric was our inspiration. Found it, chose coordinating fabrics, and then chose the pattern. Love the way it turned out. Still needs to go to the quilter. I think we will have it quilted in a gold metallic.
What are you most proud of?
The way the colors turned out together. When we bought the fabric we had no idea what to make with it, but knew we had to have it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It is easy to do but you have to square you're blocks as you go. This really helps and use a design wall. All we use is a couple of flannel backed tablecloths sewn together to make a cheap design wall. works great! Hang it with cupshooks and grommets in the tablecloth.
