Materials

-Soft cotton voile found in NYC garment district -Shell buttons from M&J Trimming

What was your inspiration?

I was reading a beautifully illustrated version of Rumpelstiltskin to my three year-old, and the costumes were empire-waist, square neckline beauties. The neckline of the Ashland recalls these medieval lines, and it reminded me of the Shakespeare festival in Ashland, Oregon - hence the name.

What are you most proud of?

Custom bodice pieces for bust sizes A-D! I think we're the first indie pattern company to offer this option. I hope it will take some of the frustration out of sewing for those who don't fit into the standard "B" cup grading!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It's a great pattern to learn how to install a zipper, pockets, and buttonholes. In the near future, look for video tutorials at http://sewliberated.com/videos.

I love this pattern and the custom bodice pieces! I was wondering if it would be possible to offer this in Size 0 (like your other patterns)?
