What was your inspiration?

I've been crocheting since I was five but I only make afghans which my family and friends love. I find crocheting is relaxing while still allowing me to participate with my family.

What are you most proud of?

Every time I finish a project it just makes me feel good and then to give them to people especially strangers or the homeless brings me great joy.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It's very easy, the first row, the final 4 rows and the edgings (2 rows each side) are all single stitch. All of the other rows are 1-1/2 stitches. The stitches are so easy you can do it without serious concentration but again, it gives such a peaceful feeling. Have fun with it!
