What was your inspiration?
My Christmas present to myself was the Jacey Boggs book/DVD Spin Art: Mastering the Craft of Spinning Textured Yarn. This is my first foray into the world of spinning art yarns.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud that I was able to ply the alpaca while adding the bits of recycled silk. Sometimes I wished I had a third hand.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time and have fun! I think that is what art yarn is all about . . . having fun and being creative.
