Instructions

This is block no. 3 from the next issue. Templates were included to cut out the shapes.

The real difficult part of this block, is that there is some bulk with the seams, so pressing the block I found to be a bit tricky.

It sounds like you guys have a lot of frustration with this block of the week deal. I do think your sailboat block turned out pretty cute anyways. It's funny because I was thinking about making one of those right before I looked online and saw your project. I hope you can get all your issues straightened out

I know what I'd be doing, giving them the flick, I got to edition 6 and called it quits. I found that Amy's Block of the Month was by far better.

How did you find these "weekly" blocks. This particular sailboat did not work out exactly as the pattern said. I found that the Craftsy Block of the month was better as Amy Gibson physically shows you how to create the block - piece by piece. I gave up the Art of Quilting after 6 blocks as the colours I received were not as shown and after waiting over 3 weeks for one because my Newsagent stuffed up, I gave up.

all three of the blocks are slightly different sizes, and found for this one, the seams a little bulky where the sails are. I am a bit annoyed. I bought issue one at my newsagent, then went online and subscribed so I wouldn't miss an issue. Got my first delivery, along with the free gifts, which were not like what was pictured, paid it (had mine invoiced), and that is all I've got! No more deliveries have been sent, and this would have been over 2 months ago now. I will probably put these blocks incorporated into a pillow or quilt or something. I have given up on this as well, I don't think the fabric they gave us was very good quality.

After saying this, got a delivery for issues 8,9,10 and 11. Don't know what happened to nos 4,5,6 & 7, guess I might need to back order them.
